Start a family tree with yourself and the people closest to you. The studio finds them across all your albums and groups new faces for you to name.
Say how everyone is related and see the family by generation, each person with their own portrait.
Search the way you talk, like "my mom's brother at the wedding", and make a storyline per person, like "Grandma through the years".
Everyone decides how they appear: approved, blurred or left out.
How it works
- 1. Connect your photos. Paste Dropbox, S3 or any image links.
- 2. Collect consent. Guests enrol and choose: show, blur, or leave out.
- 3. Ask for moments. Type or say what you want.
- 4. Make the reel. A TV or phone reel in minutes.
Questions
Do you store my photos?
Photos you link from your own storage stay there. Albums you import or upload are kept in your SmartShorts storage until you delete them. We keep face signatures (numbers, not pictures) and the reels you make.
Can a relative opt out?
Yes. Each person chooses to appear, appear blurred or be left out, and can change their mind at any time.
Does it recognise people I have not named?
New faces are grouped so you can name them. People who have not been named and have not asked to be shown are blurred by default.
